Russian Embassy’s Military & Naval Attaché Shares Views with Commander on Training Modules

Colonel Dimitry A Mikhaylovsky, Military and Naval Attache at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Sri Lanka on Tuesday (12) paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake at the Army Headquarters.

The cordial meeting that ensued at the Commander’s office focused on continuing military cooperation, exchange of military training programmes for both Sri Lankans in Russia and vice versa, military education with special relevance to Special Forces and teeth arms, etc. They also recalled sound and historic relations that exist between both countries and underlined the need to further foster such relations.

The cordial interactive meeting culminated with exchange of mementos.
