The Colombo ‘Jayagrahanaya’ Foundation with the assistance of the 62 Division, 623 Brigade and 26 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment held a medical camp and a workshop that educated people on self-employment opportunities at the Veherathenna resettled village in Vavuniya.
A total of 160 under-privileged family members of the village were given medical attention under this arrangement. Opportunities on self-employment were also taken up for discussion. The Civil Affairs Officer of the 62 Division also participated in the event.
