Ranaviru Resource Centre Trainees Join Army Day Commemoration

Differently able War Heroes under professional training at the Ranaviru Resource Centre (RRC) in Hendala under the supervision of Brigadier W.H.M Manathunga, Commandant, RRC joined several community service projects to coincide with the Army Day (Oct 10).

All officers and other rankers took part in a ‘Shramadana’ campaign at the Udupila Dhaham Medura Vipassana Meditation Centre and cleaned the premises to coincide with the 66th Army Anniversary Day on October 10.

Afterwards, those Army personnel participated in a softball cricket tournament and the commemorative arrangements came to a close with a prize giving ceremony for those who played in the tournament.

Commandant, RRC joined the distribution of prizes.
