Another community oriented welfare programme initiated by Sri Lanka Army was conducted for the inmates of the Ramavil Welfare Centre for IDPs at Kodikamam, Jaffna Friday (05) morning with the assistance of the radio channel Wasanthan FM, Independent Television Network (ITN), IDM Computer Institute and District 306-C1 Leo Club of Diyawannawa.
School items, toys, garments and packets of milk powder were distributed among more than 100 school children and 160 breast feeding mothers living at the Welfare Centre.
Commander 522 Brigade Colonel Hemantha Bandara and representatives of all donor organizations were present at the function held at the Welfare Centre.
