In order to enlighten the public and learn of pending issues and problems, related to Army’s ongoing community-oriented projects, a special interactive session with senior citizens was held at 55 Division Headquarters on Friday (7).
The meeting, headed by Brigadier B.H.M.A Wijesinghe, General Officer Commanding, 55 Division elaborated the gathering on already completed and still ongoing humanitarian and other community-oriented projects in the 55 Division area of the Security Force Headquarters-Jaffna. A gathering of senior community leaders and chieftains during discussions received an update on diverse projects, for which they in return complimented the Army and appreciated.
551 Brigade Commander, senior officers and civil affairs officer were associated with the arrangement.
