Proficiency Course on Tamil Language Ends

The fourth Spoken Tamil Course, organized by the Security Force Headquarters-Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN), with the intention of enhancing Tamil Language proficiency of Army Personnel serving the SFHQ-KLN area, concluded on Thursday (26) at the Advanced Infantry Platoon Training School, Bharathipuram.

A total of 28 Army personnel followed the course which commenced on 21 October 2015.

The closing ceremony of the course was graced by Colonel N.C. Somaweera, Commander, 574 Brigade, who delivered the closing address and gave away certificates to the participants.

Private W.R.A.N. Sampath of 20 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) secured the first place in the course whereas Private K.K.T. Dileepa of 6 Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps (SLAOC) secured the second place. Private M.K. Chamara Sampath secured the third place.
