President Leaves His Memories at SFHQ-KLN Visitors’ Book

HE the President Maithripala Sirisena who is also the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces during his visit to Kilinochchi to inaugurate the Sri Lanka-German Technical Institute at Kilinochchi on Monday (18) took time off to call at the Security Force Headquarters-Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) for a couple of minutes.

President Sirisena on arrival at the Iranamadu helipad was welcomed by a host of dignitaries, together with Major General Amal Karunasekara, Commander, Security Forces – Kilinochchi (SF-KLN) where a special Guard of Honour plus a red carpet welcome was accorded to the visiting Head of State.

During the President’s stopover at the SFHQ-KLN premises, he signed the VIP Visitors’ Book and left his thoughts. President also exchanged a few words with the troops and officers present there.

Minister of Skills Development and Vocational Training, the Leaders of the Opposition, Governor for Northern Province, Ambassador of Germany in Sri Lanka, Ambassador of Switzerland in Sri Lanka, Ambassador of Swedish in Sri Lanka, Consulate General of India, Secretary of Skills Development and Vocational Training, Chairman of NAITA, Director of GIZ Germany, Country Director of GIZ Sri Lanka and State Officers, Senior Police Officers were also associated with the President’s visit to Kilinochchi.
