President Mahinda Rajapaksa who arrived at Diyatalawa Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA) premises to attend the government’s annual parliamentary group workshop in the weekend, was warmly received by Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya on Friday (2) afternoon.
The workshop, themed on ‘country’s future roadmap’ is facilitated by the SLMA, the Army’s premier institute for training of cadet officers at Diyatalawa by way of providing board and lodging to the participants, comprised of Ministers, Deputy Ministers and government’s Members of Parliament (MPs).
Last year, the government had this workshop in a hotel at Bentota area.
