Pre- School Kids Facilitated to Call at Palaly Airport

More and more kids in pre-schools and government schools in the Jaffna peninsula are eager to visit the Palaly airport as part of an educational excursion.

26 kids in Maliddithurai Fishermen’s Co-operative pre-school accordingly sought the assistance of the Security Force Headquarters-Jaffna (SFHQ-J) to visit the airport on Friday (13).

The request to this effect was made by Mr Rajendra Prasanth, Secretary of Maliddithurai Fishermen’s Co-operative Society in Mailaddy. Arrangements for the visit were coordinated by Major General Darshana Hettiarrachchi, Commander, SF-J with the support of the Sri Lanka Air Force in Palaly.

26 kids, 2 teachers and 30 parents visited the airport during their tour. Troops welcomed them and provided them with refreshments.
