Nachchikudah ‘A’ team and Nachchikudah ‘B’ team after competing with nine football leagues in the area carried away the championship and runners-up slots in football, finals of which were played at Mulankavil Divisional Secretariat.
The tournament organized by 19 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) and 11 (V) Gajaba Regiment troops took place at Mulankavil Public Ground.
More than 400 sport fans and several members of the Islamic and Hindu faith attended the occasion.
