Pakistan’s Senior Military Delegate Meets Commander of the Army

Lieutenant General Nazir Ahmed Butt, 11th Corps Commander of Pakistan Army, currently attending the Colombo Defence Seminar 2017 sessions in Colombo on the sidelines of the proceedings had a courtesy meeting with the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake this afternoon (28) at the VIP suite at the BMICH.

11th Corps Commander of Pakistan Army, Lieutenant General Nazir Ahmed Butt during cordial discussions with Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake, recalled sound and mutual bonds of friendship that exist between both military organizations and discussed matters of bilateral importance, giving focus on enhancement of understanding and training opportunities.

Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake, Commander of the Army extended a hearty welcome to the 11th Corps Commander of Pakistan Army, Lieutenant General Nazir Ahmed Butt, and all other participants from Pakistan and wished them a pleasant stay in Sri Lanka.

Towards the end of cordial discussions, both of them exchanged mementos as symbols of goodwill.
