Pakistan Army Delegation Meets ASL Commandant

The visiting delegation of the Pakistan Army's School of Logistics, headed by its Commandant, Brigadier Kashif Zafar called at the Sri Lanka Army's School of Logistics (ASL) in Trincomalee and met its Commandant, Brigadier Deepal Wanniarachchi on Monday (8).

The ASL Commandant extending greetings to the delegation during subsequent interactions, exchanged views on the progress of ongoing training programmes and inquired into implementation of various decisions, taken earlier and other matters of interest to both organizations.

On Monday (8), the delegation had a cordial courtesy visit on Major General Amal Karunasekara, Chief of Staff who represented the Commander of the Army.

During their stay at the ASL in Trincomalee, the visiting delegation received a comprehensive knowledge on specific roles of the ASL through a presentation. Towards the end of the cordial interaction at the ASL, both Commandants exchanged mementos and sat for a group photo.

A special dinner, hosted Monday evening (8) at the 22 Division Headquarters in Trincomalee in honour of the visiting delegation was attended by the General Officer Commanding, 22 Division and several other Senior Officers.
