Outgoing Bangladesh Defence Advisor Meets Commander before His Departure

The outgoing Defence Advisor of the High Commission of Bangladesh for Sri Lanka on Thursday (7) paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake at the Army Headquarters on the eve of his departure from Sri Lanka after completion of his tenure.

Commodore S. Aslam Parvez, Defence Advisor of the High Commission of Bangladesh met the Commander and bade farewell after his tenure of more than 2 years of diplomatic service in Sri Lanka.

Commodore Parvez also recalled the memories of his service in Sri Lanka and particularly the support, extended by the Commander of the Army and his Senior Officers for execution of his duties.

Towards the end of the interactive meeting, the outgoing envoy exchanged mementoes of goodwill and appreciation.
