One More IT Course at SFHQ-East Ends

The 2nd Information Technology Course in the year ended on June (16) at the Security Force Headquarters- East (SFHQ-East) which was followed by 2 Officers and 40 Other Ranks.

On the directions of the Commander, Security Forces- East (SF-East), Major General K.M.U Wijerathne, the IT course was launched on May (2) for the Army personnel who are serving at the SFHQ-KLN.

The awarding ceremony was held at the main auditorium in the SFHQ-East.

Brigadier D.M.S Dissanayake, Brigadier General Staff, addressed the students at the closing ceremony and distributed certificates among the students who followed the course.

2 Lieutenant S.M.D.M.M Samaraweera of 15 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) got the 1st place in the Course while Lieutenant A.M.G.M.G.M Alawattegama of 6 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) and Private N.S Madushanka of 5 Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps (SLAMC) won the second and third places, respectively.

Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and students in the course participated in the awarding ceremony.
