One More Battalion Training Course Concluded

The Battalion Training Course of the Officers and Other Ranks in 10 (Volunteer) Gemunu Watch serving under the Security Force Headquarters – Central (SFHQ-C) recently concluded it at the Battalion Training School, Walamandiya.

Colonel K. H. K Kottawatte, Brigade Commander, 122 Brigade delivered the opening address in the course which commenced on April 25.

During the period of the course, officers and other ranks joined a pilgrimage to the Mahiyanganaya temple on account of the Wesak Full Moon poya day.

In the meantime, Major General Rukmal Dias, Commander, 12 Division and Major General C. P Gallage, Director, General Infantry visited the training school and inspected the course.

Colonel K. A. N. N Koswatte, Brigade Commander, 121 Brigade made the closing address in the course and gave away certificates to the officers and other ranks who successfully completed the course.
