Thailand International Judo Championship 2019 was held during 15-16 June at the Chiangmai City in Thailand with the participation 16 countries (Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Nepal, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Laos, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, China -Taipei, UAE, France and Sri Lanka)
6 players from Tri Forces in Sri Lanka vied in this championship and the Army's Lance Corporal K.L.S.M Suraweera won a Gold Medal in the weight class (below 55 kg)
