The newly-built Warrant Officers’ and Sergeants’ holiday bungalow at the Security Force Headquarters – Wanni (SFHQ-W) was declared opened by the Commander, Security Forces – Wanni (SF-W) on Wednesday (24).
It was one among the series of construction works that is being completed to provide better accommodation and basic facilities for Senior Non Commissioned Officers (SNCO) serving in SFHQ-W areas.
During the opening ceremony, Major General Boniface Perera, Commander, SF-W appreciated the construction, completed by soldiers of the SFHQ-W and the Corps of Engineer Service Regiment (CES) who worked round the clock.
The Wanni Commander, Senior officers, NCOs, together with other ranks attended the event.
