New US Defence Attaché Calls at SFHQ-KLN

The newly-appointed Defence Attaché at the US Embassy in Sri Lanka, Lieutenant Colonel Douglas Hess during a tour to the North had a courtesy meeting with the Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi (SF-KLN) Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana at the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) on Sunday (30).

During the cordial meeting, both of them exchanged views on general matters of interest and prevailing peaceful environment in Kilinochchi area.

Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana towards the end of the interactive meeting, presented a memento to the visiting Defence Attaché as a symbol of goodwill. The visitor also left compliments in the SFHQ-KLN visitors’ book.
