A newly constructed Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (SLAGSC) holiday bungalow, constructed in Nelumkulama area, Anuradhapura for the use of officers and other ranks in the Army was opened on Friday (7) in a brief ceremony.
Construction of the holiday bungalows for all ranks was directed by the Commander of the Army as an extension of Army welfare measures.
Major General M.H.P Mihindukulasuriya, Colonel Commandant, SLAGSC declared open newly built Holiday Bungalow at the auspicious time.
Opening ceremony was attended by several senior officers of SLAGSC and family members. Many other ranks were also present at the time of the ceremonial opening.
