The first formal courtesy call of tri-service chiefs on the newly-appointed Prime Minister Hon. Ranil Wickremasinghe took place at his former opposition leader’s residence on Sunday (11) in Colombo.
Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake, Commander of the Army, Navy and Air Force Commanders, expressing their best wishes on the new appointment assured their fullest cooperation for maintenance of security in the country.
Hon. Prime Minister thanked three of them for their commitment during the Presidential Election period.
