New Logistics Commander Assumes Duties

Major General K.A.D.S.L Perera took office as the Commander, Logistics Command in a simple ceremony that took place at the Headquarters Logistics Command on Monday (5) at Kosgama.

The ceremony included a Guard Turn Out to the new Commander, Logistics Command, religious observances and an All Rank tea party, organized by the Officers and Other Ranks of the Headquarters Logistics Command.

Major General K.A.D.S.L Perera, prior to being appointed as the Commander, Logistics Command served as the Commander, Forward Maintenance Area – North (FMA-N).

Centre Commandants, Commanding Officers of Logistic units in and around Panagoda and Colombo areas also attended the inauguration of office.
