New Iranian Military Attaché Calls on Commander

Colonel Ebrahim Rohani, the newly-appointed Military Attaché of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran this morning (20) paid a courtesy call on Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva, Commander of the Army at the Army Headquarters. 

Both of them during the brief meeting exchanged views on matters of bilateral interest and importance and recalled age-old relations that prevail between both Sri Lanka and Iran. 

The brief meeting culminated with exchange of symbolic mementos. The visiting diplomat was accompanied by Senior Colonel Mohammad Reza Shahali, outgoing Military Attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Sri Lanka.
