New Gymnasium for Other Rankers Opened at SFHQ-MLT

The newly-constructed gymnasium for Other Rankers at the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) was opened by Major General Dampath Fernando, Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu (MLT) on Wednesday (12).

The SFHQ-MLT gymnasium cost Rs 7 laks for the building and another Rs 8 laks was spent for purchase of body building equipment.

Major General Dampath Fernando unveiled a symbolic plaque and warmed the new gymnasium complex of the SFHQ-MLT at Mullaittivu after cutting a ribbon.

This new gymnasium was constructed within 4 months with the labour assistance provided by the troops of Corps of Engineer Service (CES) and serving troops at the SFHQ-MLT.
