New DPA at Army Headquarters Assumes Office

Brigadier Devinda Perera, the newly-appointed Director Personnel Administration (DPA) at Army Headquarters, assumed duties on Friday (15) during a brief religious ceremony.

Amid chanting of Seth Pirith by members of the Maha Sangha, the new DPA signed an official document, signifying the acceptance of the new appointment. Several senior Officers present at the occasion.

The newly-appointed DPA and the outgoing Director General Personnel Administration, together with serving Officers at the Directorate of Personnel Administration posed for a group photograph afterwards.

Brigadier Devinda Perera succeeded Major General Sudath Perera who is to assume duties as the General Officer Commanding, 58 Division.
