Troops of the 2(V) Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME) of the Security Force Headquarters – Central (SFHQ-C) opened the newly-constructed Corporals’ Club in the 2(V) SLEME camp premises in Diyatalawa on Saturday (17).
Brigadier P.S.R.L Rajakaruna, Colonel Commandant of the SLEME who was making a formal visit to the 2 (V) SLEME Headquarters on the same day declared opened the new Corporals’ Club.
On the directions of Lieutenant Colonel A.D.M.G Gunasekara, Commanding Officer, 2(V) SLEME all other ranks contributed to the construction of the new corporals’ club.
A large gathering of officers and other rankers participated in the inaugural ceremony.
