Giving a further boost to civilians living in Kandawalai Division Secretariat in the 573 Brigade Headquarters area, a new office for Civil Affairs Coordination was recently set up at Kandawalai, Kilinochchi.
This new wing expects to coordinate civil affairs and find solutions to many civil-related issues as early as possible in coordination with state authorities, like the Division/District Secretariats.
At the invitation of the 573 Brigade Commander, Brigadier T.S Bansajaya, General Officer Commanding, 57 Division opened the new Civil Affairs Coordination office during a simple ceremony.
Gramaseva Division Officers, Colonel T.M.H.D. Bandara, 573 Brigade Commander, Unit Commanders and several officers took part in the event.
