A DELEGATION of 25 trainee military officers following the Staff Course in Nepal’s Staff College, led by its Commandant Brigadier General Shyam Krishna Adhikari visited Colombo Army Headquarters this morning (5) as part of their study tour.
During the visit, the visiting Brigadier General Shyam Krishna Adhikari called on Sri Lanka Army’s Chief of Staff Major General Mendaka Samarasinghe at his office, Army Headquarters. Both military officers during the meeting exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and importance.
Later on they exchanged mementos at the end of the cordial meeting. A representative team from Nepal Staff Collage was also in attendance during the discussions.
In the meantime, a section of the delegation also made a presentation, related to their military courses at the Staff College in Nepal to the Sri Lanka Army’s Directorate of Operations during their visit to Army Headquarters.
