In response to the request of the Anuradhapura Blood Bank, Non- Commissioned Officers’ (NCOs) Training School at Kalaoya, Saliyawewa, organized a blood donation campaign on Friday (31) to be in parallel with the most recent Sri Lanka Army’s 65th Anniversary.
The blood donation was conducted on the directions of the Directorate of Army Medical Service, following the requirement was projected to them by the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital.
During the programme, officers and other ranks donated a quantity of 87 pints of blood.
Commandant, NCOs Training School and several senior officers were present at time of the inauguration of the donation.
