MULLAITTIVU: SRI Lanka Navy on duty in the seas off MULLAITTIVU confronted a cluster of LTTE attack boats during Sunday (26) wee hours and sank three of those vessels with terrorists on board.
According to the Navy, at least 12 terrorists were confirmed killed and several were injured in confrontations that lasted for a few hours.
The cluster of LTTE attack boats had set off from VELLAMULLAIVAIKKAL shore around 1.00 a.m. for their latest futile mission.
