Mullaittivu Troops Share ‘Ifthar’ Meal inside Their Camp

Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT), together with Muslim Army personnel got a customary ‘Ifthar’ ceremony organized at the SFHQ-MLT premises on Saturday (9) with the intention of further promoting bonds of goodwill and ethnic harmony among members of the Army.

A large gathering of Muslim Officers and soldiers serving the SFHQ-MLT area joined the customary celebrations in the presence of Major General Dushyantha Rajaguru, Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu.

At first, Islamic prayer sessions were conducted before the formal breaking of the fast took place.

Commander, Forward Maintenance Area - Mullaittivu, General Officers Commanding and a large gathering of troops took part in the programme.
