On account of the recent Navam Full Moon Poya Day (10), a Bodhi Pooja (meritorious act), organized by troops of the 6 (V) Military Intelligence Corps (MIC) took place at Muladhipa Temple inside the Security Force Headquarters-Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) on the guidelines given by the Commander, Security Forces-Mullaittivu (SF-MLT), Major General Dampath Fernando.
Ven Tissapura Gunarathna Thero, Chief Incumbent at Kokilai, Raja Maha Viharaya conducted the Dhamma sermon after the Pooja. Blessings were invoked on all serving soldiers and merits transferred to the dead during the arrangement.
Colonel H. Walgama, Brigadier Administration and Quartering (BAQ), SFHQ-MLT, together with senior officers, officers and other ranks attended the programmes.
