MULLAITTIVU: MILITARY Intelligence Tuesday (19) evening affirmed that LTTE Sea Tiger wing leader, SOOSAI alias THILLAIYAMPALAM SIVANESAN was also among the dead bodies that were being screened for identification, the Army Headquarters declared. LTTE's Naval Wing, established in 1984 had been contributing enormously to the sustenance of the terror outfit until most recent times.
SOOSAI, born on 16th October 1963 has joined the terrorist organization in 1981 along with POTTU AMMAN. He was later promoted to the position of Intelligence Wing Leader. He planned a series of suicide missions targeting naval craft of the Sri Lanka Navy.
SOOSAI is also in the INTERPOL Most Wanted List and Sri Lankan court has indicted him more than fifty times. The WATTALA Magistrate Court issued arrest warrants on him over charges of terrorism as recent as last January.
