More Educative Lectures Enlighten Jaffna Troops

Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) with the sheer objective of enlightening troops serving Jaffna took steps to conduct two educative lectures on 'Sports Medicine and Nutrition' and 'Quality of Agricultural Products' at the SFHQ-J auditorium on Wednesday (10) and Friday (12) respectively.

Mr R.M.N Sanjeewa, the veteran physical fitness instructor delivered a lecture on 'Sports Medicine and Nutrition' and explained the importance of learning more on Sportsmanship for a healthy life.

During the programme, the audience was educated on nutrition, physical fitness, treatment and prevention for injuries, sports and exercises, diet control, endurance and sports, etc.

Meanwhile, one more interesting awareness programme on 'Qualitative Agriculture' organized by the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) with the participation of all those working on Army-run agricultural farms took place at the SFHQ-J premises on Friday (12).

A panel of instructors of agriculture, headed by Mr M.N.W Bandara and Mr A.G.C Babu of Agriculture Department held the workshop, attended by a few hundreds of All Ranks.

Officer Commanding Army Farm - Palaly, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and Physical Training Instructors of the SFHQ - J took part in the programme.
