More Community Projects Launched in SFHQ-KLN Areas

Gajaba Regiment (GR) troops of the 651 and 652 Brigades of the 65 Division and 1 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) troops of the 573 Brigade, all of them under the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) in the past few days took part in several community-oriented projects and assisted cleaning projects.

11 battalion of Gajaba Regiment of 651 Brigade cleaned and made Kariyalanagapadduwan school premises neat and tidy. Similarly, 7 Sri Lanka National Guard troops of the 652 Brigade assisted the cleaning of M / Arogyapuram Primary Tamil School buildings and its premises.

Those community oriented projects were organized on the directions of the Commander Security Force Kilinochchi, Major General Niyshshanka Ranawana and under the supervision of Major General Kuma Peiris, General Officer Commanding of 65 Division.

Meanwhile, 1 SLSR troops on the directions of Major General Vijitha Ravipriya, General Officer Commanding, 57 Division launched a Shramadana campaign at Kandawali rural hospital and its premises.

Several civil organizations also supported the work of the troops.
