More Army Personnel Learn About Life Skills & Drugs

Directorate of Psychological Operations (Psy Ops) of the Army in coordination with the Alcohol and Drug Information Centre (ADIC), conducted one more training programme for instructors and other rankers participating in the ‘Anti Drug’ campaign on Wednesday (20) at the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps Regimental Headquarters at Panagoda.

A total of 5 Officers and 191 Other Rankers took part in the educational programme, in which Major U.P Mallawarachchi, Senior Psychiatrist at the Mental Health Unit at the Army Hospital, delivered a lecture on ‘Life Skills and Motivation’.

Mr Ajith Nawagamuwa, Senior Programme Officer, ADIC meanwhile spoke on ‘Alcohol and its Reality’ during the same programme, jointly organized by the Directorate of Psychological Operations.
