Three Buddhist monks, resident in India currently on tour in Sri Lanka after a tour to the East and Delft Islands, arrived at the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) on familiarization on Tuesday (10).
Ven. Pagoda Chandra Vimale Thero, Ven. Halpitigala Assajee Thero, Ven. Tissamaharama Jinarathana Thero, all three from India, accompanied by Ven. Elapadeniye Gunasiri Thero after meeting Major General Jagath Dias, Commander, SFHQ-MLT, held a joint Dhamma talk for the benefit of officers and other ranks serving the SFHQ-MLT and blessed them chanting Pirith.
The monks later on tied Pirith threads on all ranks and invoked blessings.
