Mr Wijayadasa Rajapakshe, Minister of Justice, together with Mr Y.J.W Wijayathilaka, Attorney General on Thursday (11) laid foundation stones for the Attorney General’s residential quarters in Vavuniya which is going to be built by Wanni troops.
They were warmly received by Major General Boniface Perera, Commander, Security Force Headquarters-Wanni (SFHQ-W) at the Vauniya Air Force Base. Three Buddhist monks, together with Catholic Hindu and Islam clergies also attended the foundation-laying ceremony.
Finally, they signed the visitors' book at the SFHQ-W premises to mark their arrival at the SFHQ-W.
