The Seva Vanitha Unit of the Sri Lanka Military Intelligence Corps (MIC) organized, ‘Hela Viru Gee Miyuru’ musical extravaganza dramatized the Sugathadasa Stadium Friday (25) evening as hundreds of rhythmic beats of popular musicians rent the air.
The mammoth entertainment, choreographed by the veteran artiste, Chandana Wickramasinghe saw Secretary Defence Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Chief Guest and Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya, Guest of Honour, gracing the occasion at the invitation of the Colonel of the MIC Regiment.
Mrs. Ioma Rajapaksa, President Seva Vanitha Ministry of Defence was welcomed by Mrs. Manjulika Jayasuriya, President, Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB) on the occasion. Funds raised by the show are to be used for the welfare of soldiers in the MIC and disable officers and soldiers.
