Major General Amal Karunasekara visited several battalions under the 65 Division of the Security Force Headquarters-Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) after assuming duties as Commander, SFH-KLN during 18-20 January.
Major General Karunasekara visited 20 Gajaba Regiment (GR), 7 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) and 20 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) on 18 January and 19 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI), 11 (V) Gajaba Regiment (GR), 15 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR), 21 (V) SLLI.
During the visits to the battalions, the commanding officers briefed the SF commander of the Civil Military Cooperation (CIMIC) activities conducted by them. Afterwards, the visiting SF Commander inquired about the administrative issues within the battalions.
