Judo Workshop for Killinochchi Students

A ‘Judo’ workshop was organized for students and school-leavers in Killinochchi District during 26-27 April 2018 at the utility building complex of the 57 Division under the Security Force Headquarters - Killinochchi.

The workshop was organized under the direction and close supervision of the General Officer Commanding, 57 Division, Major General Vijitha Ravipriya.

More than 70 players participated in the two-day workshop. Prominent Judo players such as Sergeant T.S.G.T.S Parakaduwa, Corporal G.S.A.A.V Shaha Bandu, Private A.D Shanika and Private V.J.S.H Kumari who are in the Sri Lanka Army Judo committee as instructors joined together with 70 other players.

Further, Mr Mohandash District Sport Officer - Kilinochchi willingly coordinated the workshop.
