The inter-battalion sports tournament of the Security Force Headquarters-Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) that got underway early in February, had its final events and awarding ceremony on Sunday (14) at the Oddusuddan Maha Vidyalayam playground.
Major General Jagath Dias, Commander, Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu graced the final event as the Chief Guest.
68 Division was adjudged as the best Division in the Sports tournament while the 18 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment emerged as the best battalion in the tournament.
Major General Dias who was behind organizing the event gave away trophies and certificates to the achievers.
Senior state officials, school principals, teachers and children of the area were among those who witnessed the final day.
