Indian NDC Delegation Exchanges Views with Commander

A 17-member delegation from India’s National Defence College’s (NDC) Course No 56, currently in Sri Lanka as part of their curriculum this morning (22) called on the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva at the Army Headquarters.

The visiting delegation to the Army Headquarters led by Captain P. Gopalan, Defence Attaché to the Indian High Commission for Sri Lanka consisted of the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, Indian Audit and Account Service, Indian Police Service, Nepal Army, Saudi Arabia Air Force, Qatar Army and Bangladesh Air Force who are following the above NDC course in India.

After the friendly discussion that ensued, both the Commander of the Army and officers of the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force exchanged mementos as tokens of goodwill and appreciation. 

The meeting followed a presentation submitted by Major General Aruna Jayasekara, Director General Training at the Army Headquarters on the roles and tasks of the Sri Lanka Army with the objective of educating the visitors on the organization.
