Indian Delegates Meet Jaffna Commander

The retired Indian foreign service official Mr G. Parthasarthy, together with Mr Ashok Malik, a senior journalist paid a courtesy call on Major General Mahesh Senanayake, Commander, Security Forces, Jaffna (SF-J) Tuesday (10) morning at his office in Palaly. 

During the cordial meeting, the SF Commander explained them the present security situation and the civil administration system in place in the peninsula. 

Further, the Commander briefly explained them about Army projects, launched to support promotion of democracy, reconciliation and development in the peninsula. 

Towards the culmination of the cordial discussion, Major General Mahesh Senanayake, Commander, SF-J presented mementos of goodwill and memory to the delegation. 

Mr G Parthasarthy   and Mr Ashok Malik left their signatures in the visitors’ book, appreciating the contribution being made by the SL Army towards reconciliation.
