The visiting Indian Army Basketball team in the first rehearsal match played Thursday (1) evening at the Army Indoor Basketball courts at Army cantonment, Panagoda against the players of the Colombo District Basketball team, emerged winners.
The rehearsal match saw the Indian team beat Colombo District Basketball team by 87 - 52 points as the match drew to a close.
Brigadier Mangala Wijesundara and several senior officers witnessed the rehearsal match.
