Several representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) during a visit to the north called at the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) to meet its Commander, Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe on Thursday (19).
Mr David Quesne, Deputy Head of Delegation of ICRC and Mr Patrick Morin, the newly-appointed field delegate of ICRC met the Kilinochchi Commander and received an update on humanitarian assistance programmes in the area.
At the end of the meeting, Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe presented mementos to both of them as symbol of memory.
