Minister of Health, Indigenous Medicine and Nutrition Dr Rajitha Senarathne this morning (24) paid a visit to the Ragama 'Ranaviru Sevana' rehabilitation centre and had a firsthand experience by looking at production of prosthetic limbs in the wellness resort. An Officer made a presentation on the production process to the visiting Minister and explained how raw-materials and chemicals are combined to manufacture various sizes to match with measurements.
Two inmates welcomed the Minister, together with Major General Sanjeewa Munasinghe, Director General Army Health Services, Brigadier Shantha Rajakaruna, Director Rehabilitation and Brigadier D.B.P Kariyawasam, Commandant.
