Fight Against Dengue Goes on in Kirulapone & Pamankada Areas

Possible Dengue breeding grounds in Kirulapone and Pamankada areas came under the scrutiny of Dengue prevention teams, spearheaded by the Security Force Headquarters – West (SFHQ-West) during the course of Friday (7).

This special Dengue fighting unit, comprised of 200 Army personnel, Police officers and Public Health Inspectors (PHIs) began its programme on Saturday (1) and culminates on Saturday (8) in response to a request made to the Commander of the Army by health authorities.
