A ceremony was held on Monday (19) to award certificates to officers who have successfully completed the Officers’ English Course No-5 held at the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) auditorium.
The English course was conducted under the guidance of Major General Mahesh Senanayaka, Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna.
He attended the awarding ceremony as the Chief Guest.
English course took place during September 09 - December 19 to enhance the skills on listening, speaking, reading and writing.
During the awarding ceremony, the student officers of the course presented a mini concert to demonstrate their language skills.
Senior staff officers of the SFHQ-J, commanding officers of respective battalions, Lieutenant Aruni Pathiraja, English Instructor and Mr. Srithar, visiting lecturer attended awarding ceremony.
