Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) at Sapugaskanda, whose motto prepares War Heroes ‘To War with Wisdom and Knowledge’ recently marked one more milestone when this prestigious seat of learning launched its official website (www.dscsc.lk) during a brief ceremony.
Mr. R.M.S. Ratnayake, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Defence, on the invitation of the DSCSC Commandant Major General J.C. Rambukpotha, launched the new official website after a brief ceremony.
The day’s ceremony began after Lieutenant Colonel J.B. Weragama on behalf of Commandant and DSCSC welcomed the Chief Guest before he presented an introductory account of the layout and contents of the new website and collective efforts that saw its birth.
Homepage of the website included a congratulatory message sent to the occasion by Secretary Defence Mr Gotabaya Rajapaksa. Another message given by the visiting Chief Guest also greeted the front page.
Tutorial members of the DSCSC, student officers and a gathering of invitees representing tri-services and the Police attended the inauguration.
