Dengue - Infected Areas Cleared by Troops

Troops serving the Security Force Headquarters - West (SFHQ-West) launched a 3-day Dengue prevention campaign commenced on Friday (26) with the assistance of medical officers and Public Health Inspectors (PHI) in Gampaha, Colombo and Kaluthara Districts on the instructions of the Commander, Security Forces - West.

More than 200 troops comprised of 14 and 58 Division engaged in the campaign and carefully inspected home compounds, drains, garbage collecting areas and other covered areas for possible mosquito-breeding places.
